I always wanted to know more about my heritage... I was told by my family from my dad's side that im a full blooded Bugis... Hmm... Who are these Bugis anyway? So what i did was to Google away... and these was what i found, its in Malay of course... hehe...

Orang Bugis berasal dari kepulauan Sulawesi di Indonesia, dan kini dengan populasi seramai tiga juta, mendiami hampir kesemua kawasan di Sulawesi Selatan. Penaklukan Belanda pada kurun ke-17 menyebabkan sebahagian daripada mereka berpindah dan kini telah bercampur dengan suku lain di Sumatra, Kalimantan, Jawa, Semenanjung Malaysia dan Sabah,Sarawak
Etnik Bugis cukup terkenal di dalam bidang maritim di Kepulauan Melayu dan di dalam bidang ekonomi. Mereka juga terkenal sebagai pahlawan yang berani, lanun yang digeruni dan pedagang yang berjaya. Pusat tumpuan utama bagi kebudayaan dan ekonomi etnik ini adalah Ujung Pandang atau dikenali sebagai Makassar. Orang Bugis juga merupakan penganut agama Islam.

Etnik Bugis mempunyai bahasa tersendiri dikenali sebagai Bahasa Bugis (Juga dikenali sebagai Ugi). Konsonan di dalam Ugi pula di kenali sebagai Lontara yang berdasarkan tulisan Brahmi.

Nur Kasih - superficial addiction

Normally i dun get hooked on malay dramas but i saw my mom watching this particular drama and it was addictive... hehe... Basically its boils down to the story line. Heading way back to our religious roots and beliefs towards the modern society and culture. Lots of phrases and examples of life is shown and to be learnt. Thoughts that you might not know who to ask and maybe never come across in you mind is powerfully shown in this drama. It reflects who we are as an individual muslim. Heart warming and makes you reach deep within yourself to find out more about Islamic Laws... Good for woman to watch... hehe

Cousin Azyyah's Engagement

I was so thrilled to receive the news of my Malaysian Kedah Cousin Azyyah getting hitched this December...

I just got to see the engagement photos and she look so pretty...

Im so happy for her...

She is from Kedah and if im not wrong her fiance is from JB but their wedding ceremony is goin to be held at KL.

So all relatives are just going to head there for the grand affair.

Stitches Removed

Finally got my wisdom tooth stitches removed. Its almost recovering and im truly glad. Soon i can get to eat all i want, smile as much as i want with no pain. All I have to do now is to just take care of it and hopefully nothing happens.

My Wisdom Tooth Hell is all over!!!!

The Day I Got My Wisdom Tooth Extracted....

3rd June 2009 I had my 4 wisdom tooth extracted.

All surgery was done by Dr Wong Wai Yee.

She made sure all went smoothly.

Above is my teeth X-Ray, all the 4 tooth that was extrated out it was crazy and i was so glad that i was totally asleep at that point of time.

Surgery started at 9 and ended at 930am.

Fast and painles, except when later on i did feel the pain... gauze after gauze the put in my mouth.... hehe...

But the nurses were amazed that normally anyone who even had like one wisdom tooth extracted already wont be able to speak but for me i could and even laugh... haha... alhamdullillah...

For the moment i still cant eat solid food.

Still eating porridge..

I can be slimmer with this diet... hehe...

For now, when i look in the mirror i do look like a hamster.

Thats what Razif told me too... hehe...

Being afraid of needles i had to go through it.

It turn out not that bad after all when the nurse told me that if i think this was painful, worst what my mom had to go through when she gave birth to me, she was poked with a needle twice the size of my needle. eee.... scary!!!

He made it not that painful for me.

Made me laugh and forget about it.

It was so sweet of him to buy me packets of instant porridge, my favourite Campbell's Tomato Juice and some herbal drinks.

I love him...

Thanks for the wonderful 3 years.

Dental Horror...

Appointment was schedule yesterday afternoon at Alexandra Hospital for my Dental appointment. It was Horrify-ing!!! I was told to have my wisdom tooth remove. Mind you its all 4 wisdom tooth at once. My first ever surgery to be held on this 3rd of June 09 at 830 am. Its giving me the cold feet and all the butterflies in my tummy...

I will be going for General Anaesthesia, so to say i will be sleeping. Hell no i wanna be awake and having to see all of those sharp stuff getting into my mouth. One of my wisdom tooth is tilting to an angular position and I was told that it is 50% touching my nerve and it could be a chance of permanent numbness around that area. Now why didnt I go for surgery earlier when there was hope? FEAR!!! Who won't? Well, counting the days till i have my tooth extract and a week long of porridge... Yucks!!!
